Tuscany Photography That Will Have You Booking a Trip ASAP

WATCH THIS TRAVEL VLOG!

Tuscany is a place I’ve always wanted to go to and on our recent trek to Europe, we knew we needed to visit this place, if only for a day. These day trips to other places are actually becoming my favorite thing because it gives you a taste for the place and then you know if you want to go back or not!

And as far as Tuscany, spoiler alert, I do!

What we did was we rented a car and went to 3 towns. Each little town had that same charming factor, yet felt a little different at the same time.

Tuscany is definitely a place where you could spend a whole week or more, visiting all the towns and cruising the countryside.

FLORENCE

Florence Tuscany Italy

Florence is the first place we started in and where we picked up our car. We didn’t spend a ton of time here, but from what I saw it was really cute! Florence is the capital of the Tuscany region, so though it doesn’t have that super quaint feel, you’ll find you can do a lot more stuff!

MONTEPULCIANO

Montepulciano was my favorite town we visited. It gave me those “oh my gosh I can’t believe I’m actually here” feelings. Every corner was so beautiful and this hilltop town offered amazing views!

Your best bet, as with most of these places, is to just find a Piazza then roam around that area!

PIENZA

Pienza was my second favorite town, and you can easily see it in a couple of hours, same with the rest of the places we visited. It’s small, with about 2,000 people, but it wasn’t lacking in any charm!

MONTALCINO

This one felt small and like there wasn’t as much to look at, but it did have a really cool castle and it offered some awesome views!

Even though it wasn’t my favorite town out of the 3, we had a great aperitivo (pre-dinner drinks) experience here.

I’m not even a crazy big wine person, but I had the best wine of my life! And at only 4 euro a glass? Keep it coming, please! I wish I knew the name of it, but we just walked into a little restaurant and asked what they recommended that was sweet haha.

But of course, you can’t forget a huge draw of Tuscany…driving through the countryside. You may get some of the best views this way! Having no concrete plans and being able to pull over at whatever looks pretty is simply the best!
