As we’re officially into the new year, you may have 1 of 2 outfit goals. Maybe you’re tired of all the sweats that 2020 brought so your goal is to glam.it.up! Or maybe you liked being basic and comfortable in your oversized tees and pajamas and your goal is to keep it that way. How about a compromise? Embrace minimalist fashion! From the number of clothes you have to the styles and colors, minimalist fashion likes to keep it simple. But there’s nothing sloppy, boring, or too overdone about it. With key pieces and strategic repeats, here are 7 minimalist outfit ideas for you- one for every day this week!

3. turtleneck + coat + jeans + heels + structured bag

4. tee + blazer + black jeans + ankle boots + tote bag + pendant necklace
Without the blazer, this look could definitely pass as something a model would wear walking through JFK airport. Add a blazer and you get the best of both worlds- street style chic! All black with a pop of camel is interesting and quality ankle boots will take your outfit up a notch.

Bored with jeans? Try slacks! Not only are they classic pieces, but pants like these come back around as trendy too. Of course, being trendy is the least of our concerns! 😉 Still, this is a timeless combo you can’t go wrong with. Wear your hair pulled back and pair this look with simple studs to look even more classic.

You’re very chic! And thank you for your tips????
Hello Carolyn
I find your blog very helpful. I am always looking for ways to simplify clothing/ outfits. Please keep doing what you do as you do it well. Thank you.
I would not consider outerwear part of the outfit. Most people are working indoors, whether it be at home or outside of the home so the coat would not be an element of the outfit. Neither would the bag for that matter.
I like everything nice.
I love the outfits, but I agree. When I see a coat with an outfit, I always have to picture the outfit without the coat. 🙂
These are great! Where did you find the cognac tote bag? Overall I would love to know where you bought the pieces in this post. Thanks!
I am updating this post and will add similar items here!
This is awesome – thanks!!
