Whether you’re like me or not and wouldn’t exactly call your style bohemian, you can’t help but see some of the influences boho has on fashion in spring and summer! My wardrobe definitely takes on these influences when the warm weather hits. What’s nice is that you can easily look boho chic without having to go all “Coachella” (if that’s not your thing). Here is 1 easy outfit formula to master boho chic this warm weather season!

1 Easy Outfit Formula to Master Boho Chic

1. Kimono
When you think of bohemian you probably think of maxi dresses, floral prints, fringe, kimonos, and things that are flowy and fun. You can pick and choose what you want to incorporate into your outfit, but I think kimonos are the perfect in-between of boho and chic. You can find different patterns that fit your style and they nail flowy and fun!

2. Bodycon dress
To give your kimono the spotlight it deserves, you want to go with a pretty basic dress underneath. I like to go with bodycon dresses because I feel the balance of loose and tight works well. Plus basic bodycon dresses are pretty inexpensive, giving you more room to spend on an assortment of kimonos!

3. Wood block heels
Bohemian style is all about those natural, desert vibes so I think tying in some earth elements such as wood heels would be perfect. Strappy sandals also work!

4. Accessorize
Of course, no outfit formula is complete without some sort of accessory. I chose a floppy hat because not only does it fit the boho look, but they’re such a cute (and practical) accessory for spring and summer. With this outfit I chose a statement necklace as well because who doesn’t love making a statement? 😉 Other ideas include sunglasses, a stack of arm candy, or statement earrings. Just don’t do too much at once to keep it more in the chic range. And to each their own, but I’m a little tired of seeing floral crowns and headbands across the forehead in the name of boho.
